As the founder and CEO of Pori, I bring over 40 years of lived experience in Tanzania and more than 17 years of leadership in East Africa’s tourism and hospitality industry. I’ve always believed that meaningful innovation starts with a deep respect for the land, its people, and its future.
My passion for sustainability led me to build Africa’s first Superadobe hotel room nearly 15 years ago—long before eco-building became a trend. That moment sparked a journey to create earth-friendly homes that blend natural beauty, local craftsmanship, and low-impact design.

Harris Brothers Construction is a UK-licensed company specializing in eco-friendly building solutions, with a strong focus on sustainability and innovative construction techniques. One of the company's signature methods is the use of Superadobe, an earthbag building technique developed for sustainable housing.
The company is known for constructing the first Superadobe building in Africa, completed in 2010 in southern Tanzania. This landmark project marked a significant milestone in eco-construction on the continent and highlighted the company’s commitment to green, sustainable building practices.

Mo, a Zanzibari building supervisor and chartered civil engineer, has 20 years of experience leading construction projects. He is known for overseeing high-profile developments with a focus on quality, safety, and timely completion.
In addition he spearheaded the construction of Africa’s first Superadobe hotel room in 2010. His leadership in eco-lodge development and marketing elevated the lodge's sustainability and visibility.
